Learn in community.

Learning a language is difficult — and that difficulty compounds if you're doing it alone. Thankfully, you don't have to. Every week the community gathers with scholars and fellow learners to keep you moving.

Twice a week

office hours

Sit down with your virtual professor for hands-on guidance.

Twice a week, we host office hours in the Biblingo Community. Come ask your hardest questions about the biblical languages. Get clarity on any questions you have about Biblingo. Learn best practices for language learning.

You can drop by, ask your question, and leave. Or you can hang out with us for the whole session. Whatever fits your needs!

Weekly · 90 minutes

weekly reading groups

Reading is more fun (and effective) with friends.

In learning the biblical languages, reading is the name of the game. So every week, we host intensive reading groups in the Biblingo Community.

Each meeting, we spend an hour and a half working through a portion of Scripture together, stopping along the way to ask questions about grammar, syntax, and meaning.

Weekly · 30 minutes

fluency workshops

30 minute intensives to fast-track your fluency.

You can study vocab for hours — but if you aren't developing fluency, your cramming has been naught. The key is to use what you've learned — a lot. That's exactly what we do in the community every week in our fluency workshops.

During these weekly 30-minute meetings, we work on developing fluency in reading, speaking, and listening to help you internalize the languages so you can use them with ease.

Weekly

grammar reviews

Tell your brain it's worth remembering.

When you first learn a concept, it goes into your short term memory. You remember it for a few days. But if you don't use that new knowledge, your brain decides it's not worth remembering.

The key to committing what you've learned to long term memory is review, review, review. That's why we do live Grammar Reviews every week in the Biblingo Community.

Head of Community

Colton Honeycutt

Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have several Christian communities that helped pour into me. Once I entered high school, I began discerning a call toward ministry. That calling prompted me to align my education to better equip me for that ministry, manifesting (so far) as a B.A. in Religion from Berea College and an M.T.S from Emory University. Central to that time in school was a deep love for the Bible, especially the original languages.

I have been studying the biblical languages for over 8 years, and I know how formative a community has been in helping me learn them well. At Biblingo, I want to help you experience the benefits of learning in community.
