GrammarGrammar Topic: Noun – 3rd Declension -ευς
The basic endings for the 3rd declension are always the same, but when we introduced the endings, we noted that they will sometimes appear differently when combining with other letters (15.3.3.1–16.3.3.1). Accordingly, the 3rd declension nouns in this lesson end in a vowel that contract differently with the endings making them appear different.
